One thing that some of us might be missing with Covid happening is concerts. I know I do! Concert were my go to when I needed some excitement in life. But since I can't do that at the moment, I decided to create a vibey gig poster that gives a clear feeling about it. Can you guess what genre this make-believe band would be? My original plan did not look like this poster. However, my process to this one is the same. I started with sketching my ideas out.

At first, I was trying to do something with a pickup truck. One of the sketches was a person lying in the bed with their feet hanging off the edge. I wanted to focus on the feet. So much so that I ditched the truck idea. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to do foot prints with a topographic effect. I didn't receive too much critique, as I switched my concept relatively close to the deadline. However, I did receive a suggestion to reduce the amount of lines. I thought this would contradict the topographic effect I was going for.

The genre of "Loophole" is more alternative. I would relate the vibe I was going for to Tame Impala. I hope you got the same vibe from my gig poster.
